Notable Local Musicians Present Special Concert for Residents

Posted 1/4/2017

Two locally famous musicians Sue Orfield and Randy Sinz presented a special private concert for residents at Grace Lutheran Communities River Pines on the 2nd of January.

“Sue Orfield and Randy Sinz are extremely talented musicians who give their listeners 100% whenever they are performing. I have heard them many times throughout the years when they have given concerts at different venues throughout the Chippewa Valley: including being the main band when they perform at Phoenix Park, playing with the Blues Society at Owen Park as well as performing at local wineries and restaurants,” said Activity Director Karen Park.

Sue Orfield has played saxophone with many musical greats over the years, including Bo Diddley, Bobby McFerrin, The Indigo Girls, Ann Wilson (Heart), Dizzy Gillespie, Ivan Neville, Jo Dee Messina, among others. Randy Sinz has been playing bass for nearly a half-century and playing music professionally for more than 44 years.

“I am excited that they are going to come to River Pines to give a concert. I know that anyone who comes to join us are in for a treat,” said Park.
