Dear friends of Grace Lutheran Communities:

Over five years ago, Grace Lutheran Communities entered into contract with Marshfield Clinic Health System to offer a new and unique post-acute care delivery model that became known as the Comfort and Recovery Suites built within the Wausau, Marshfield and Eau Claire hospital campuses. Combined with the exceptional care delivery provided by our joined care-giving teams, this unique patient recovery care model has generously served thousands of patients and families over the past five years and has deservedly received the highest care quality ratings since its beginning.

As much as all of us at Grace Lutheran Communities would treasure the opportunity to continue serving our patients and families through the Comfort and Recovery Suites, Marshfield Clinic Health System has informed Grace Lutheran Communities that the Comfort and Recovery Suites business contract will not be renewed and will cease operations at all hospital campuses by the end of April, 2021. 

In light of these circumstances, Grace Lutheran Communities is guided by our mission and values to be responsive in need.  We are committed to supporting all Grace Lutheran employees affected through this transition and extend our sincere gratitude for their continued commitment to provide exceptional care for our patients and families in months ahead.
